What is notelog?

notelog is a note app built on a “write it, dump it, find it” philosophy. Don’t think about where to file a note or which word you used — leave finding to AI.

Why?

As notes pile up, folders and tags collapse and what you need gets lost. We wanted a tool that drops the folder chore and searches by the meaning of your notes.

How it works

Each note is turned into a vector (embedding) that captures its meaning; we match your query in the same space — so we find the right note even with different words. When you “ask your notes”, we give the relevant notes to Claude as context and produce a sourced answer.
